Overview of Events

In the main navigation, click Events to open the main page on which the events currently defined are listed:

Event list

For a list with lots of entries, you can use the page navigation or the search in the upper area of the page to find a specific event. Select Include Closed if you are looking for an event already closed.

Click New to create a new event.

Click an event item in the list to view or edit its details, to manage the event partipicants, or to keep track of the mailings sent in the context of this event. The details page of the event is then displayed:

Here, the following options are available:

  • Edit: Clicking this button (located below the event title) opens a form with which the title, the start and end dates, the event’s web service name as well as the participant fields can be edited (as long as the event has not been closed).

  • Delete: Deletes the event. This is only possible if no participants have been assigned to the event.

  • Close: Close an event to remove it from the event main page and to exclude it from searches.

In the lower part of the details page, two tabs are available, Participants and Mailings.

Participants

On the Participants tab the number of participants for each possible participant status is displayed (e.g. Registered). If no participants have been assigned yet, add the contact persons to be invited.

Click one of the states to view the list of participants with this particular state:

Click a participant in the list to change her status. The following dialog is displayed:

Click one of the following buttons:

  • Delete: Removes the contact person from the participant list.
  • Refuse: The participant refused the invitation.
  • Register: The contact person has registered for participation.
  • Attend: The contact person has attended.

Use the context navigation to return to the list of participants or to the event.

Mailings

By means of the Mailings tab, you can access the mailings that were carried out or are planned in the context of the event:

Click New to create a new mailing for this event, or click a list item to edit a specific mailing.
