CMS Functionality

  • The procedure for partially dumping and restoring CMS data now takes account of mirror files. Furthermore, it requires less resources. The functions for partial dumping and restoring may now be used productively again. (ID 11652)

  • In exceptional circumstances, scheduled jobs were no longer executed because their schedule was not updated. This bug has been fixed. (ID 11668)

  • Editing file formats no longer causes problems if the size of the search result set has been limited. (ID 11953)

  • Search queries that are made using the input field in the main window of the GUI are now responded to much faster. (ID 11974)

  • If a relative link is edited in the link dialog accessed via the HTML editor (EOP) or the TinyMCE, the link now refers to the file being edited, and not to the base folder. (ID 12328)

  • In particular situations, the Rails preview delivered the wrong page after an editing action was cancelled. This behavior has been correced. (ID 12871)

  • If a permalink is used for navigating in the Rails preview, the corresponding CMS file is now correctly selected in the GUI. (ID 13275)

  • CMS files are now moved and renamed faster. This particularly effects systems that deliver content by means of the Rails Connector. (The database of the Rails Connector is updated faster). (ID 13362)

  • If several Template Engine slaves performed an export in parallel, the journal could occasionally become incomplete on Microsoft Windows platforms. In this case, the online and offline directories went out of sync which caused content updates to not appear on the live server. (ID 13377)

  • Using the preview for displaying dynamic content sometimes mistakenly produced a 404 error. This bug has been fixed. (ID 13422)

  • In rare cases, links in the Template Engine were not resolved after data was partially restored. This bug has been fixed. (ID 13466)

  • In order to modify the file fields of a mirror file, the administration permission is no longer required for the original file. Furthermore, having the administration permission for an original file no longer implies this permission for its mirror files. (ID 13513)

  • Free links created with Tcl are now placed into the Rails database tables without having to execute the content … resolveRefs command. (ID 13487)

Portal Manager

  • The settings of a portlet no longer survive log-ins or log-outs. Thus, portlets now always are in their proper state. (ID 11213)

  • Running the Portal Manager in Tomcat 6 and with Java 6 sometimes caused internal errors to be handled incorrectly. This problem has been solved. (ID 13462)
