Distributions

CMS Fiona 7.0.2 was tested with respect to its basic functionality under the following Linux distributions:

Ubuntu 20.04
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.2
SuSE Linux Enterprise 15
With SLES 15, indexing and the search using the SES and the Verity search engine don’t work due to an incompatibility of third-party software with this distribution. If you are operating Fiona 7.0.2 in combination with the SES and the Verity search engine, please use a different distribution.

The last supported Java version is 8. Java 9 includes extensive changes Fiona 7.0.2 is not compatible with.

As the database, MySQL 5.7 can be used. The more recent MySQL version 8 is not supported.
